Epithalon (10mg)

Epithalon has a unique structure, composed of four amino acids: alanine, glutamic acid, aspartic acid, and glycine. This specific arrangement, represented as Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly, is crucial for the peptide’s biological activity and effectiveness in research. Each amino acid contributes distinct characteristics that enhance Epithalon's properties. Alanine adds simplicity and stability, supporting the other amino acids in the sequence. Glutamic acid functions as a neurotransmitter and is important in metabolic processes. Aspartic acid increases the peptide’s versatility, participating in the synthesis of essential biomolecules. Glycine adds to the peptide’s structural integrity and flexibility, enabling it to achieve the necessary shapes for biological activity. Epithalon is synthesized using a solid-phase peptide synthesis method, allowing for precise control over the peptide bond formation between each amino acid. This method ensures the sequence remains intact and contributes to the stability and purity of the resulting compound. The synthesis process's quality affects Epithalon's final composition and effectiveness, making high-quality production techniques essential for researchers. Understanding Epithalon's molecular composition is crucial for appreciating its use in scientific research. The specific amino acid arrangement and the meticulous synthesis contribute to the peptide’s potential functionality and stability, which are key to studying this peptide.

This is a dehydration process where the peptide (in a solution) is first frozen. Then, the surrounding pressure is reduced, causing the frozen water or solvent in the material to sublimate (go directly from the solid phase to the gas phase), essentially removing the moisture.

Peptides are often unstable in liquid form. Lyophilization significantly improves their stability, making them last longer on the shelf. It makes them easier to transport and store.

When you need to use the peptide, you simply add a liquid back to it (reconstitute it). So, when you see a peptide described as "lyophilized," it means it's in a dry, solid form that was created through this freeze-drying process to make it more stable.
